"People are crazy and times are strange, I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range, I used to care, but things have changed", or so as Dylan sings. These lines from the much loved poetic maestro seem to have struck a resonant chord with my organs somewhere.

This has been a year of alterations, more or less curdled with delicate upheavals. Before 2007 A.D. curled up its tail and bade the world goodbye, I had this premonition (for the lack of a better word) that the following year would bring its share of bumps and spikes.

I wasn't quite wrong. There's been much changes on the career front and everything else in between.

2008 is progressing fairly well for me , but most of all, it has been a year topped with an insightful discovery into the murky depths of the human abyss, shameful creatures we interact with more than we'd like to. I am learning many things as I go along, learning not to be too quick to judge many a human heart, learning to fly when I hardly know the technicalities of walking.

Conceivably, I am seldom wrong in the invisible areas of meting out a soul's depth. Even so, I have been shown the lengthy miles undesirable minds can actually traverse. Save for those I hold dear today, begrudged losers will continue to put on their best garments to fill in as winners, while the fallen will continue to act like they are sages endowed with a faulty wisdom I cannot fathom. They can continue kidding themselves if need be, gazing at their hoi polloi wheel that's still lazily in spin.

I am a happy man generally, and I will work hard in making those around me the same too. Of course, I will not pay too much attention to those who try too hard to impress.

For what it's worth, I don't celebrate mediocrity.
